The Out-of-Box Experience (OOBE) in Windows 11 is the initial setup process when you start your computer for the first time. It guides you through basic settings such as privacy preferences, creating users, connecting to a wireless network, and more1. If you need further customization, you can also enter audit mode to make additional configurations.
To bypass the Out-of-Box Experience (OOBE) and set up Windows 11 without an internet connection, follow these steps:
- Start your PC with the Windows 11 USB flash drive.
- Press any key to continue.
- Click Next.
- Click Install now.
- If you’re doing a reinstallation, choose “I don’t have a product key” (reactivation will happen automatically if previously activated).
- Accept the license terms.
- Select “Custom: Install Windows only (advanced)”.
- Delete each partition on the hard drive where you want to install Windows 11.
- On the “Oops, you’ve lost internet connection” page, press Shift + F10 to open Command Prompt.
- Type “OOBE \BYPASSNRO” and press Enter to bypass network requirements.
- Your computer will restart, and the OOBE will start again.
